Tomorrow, November 24th, here in the US, we celebrate Thanksgiving. This holiday is associated with Pilgrims and Native Americans coming together out of chaos, deprivation, and even some fear and animosity, for an abundant. bountiful harvest feast. However factually accurate or not that legend is, that’s the story behind the holiday. Thanksgiving at its core is meant to symbolize intercultural peace, opportunity for newcomers, abundance, the sanctity of home and family, all of which is much needed globally (and most certainly here in the US). Some of these things our country, along with our global neighbors, need to remember, to shift some policies around, to choose higher and to that end I send love, light, forgiveness and gratitude to our global governing powers that be and to all.
On this day of thanksgiving, I AM holding the space of peace, light, love and abundance for all. In this Sacred Space that I AM holding, I have also opened a frequency for you to connect with the Power of You available through the energetic frequency of RADICAL GRATITUDE. It is through an open receptivity to the truth and light of you and a daily Radical Gratitude practice where you are grateful for absolutely everything that you can tap into and flow in this frequency of MIRACLES that I AM HOLDING FOR YOU!
The Thanksgiving holiday is a reminder to extend our grateful thoughts to the Divine, the Universe, to Mother, Father, God, Source of all that is, however you view your higher power, for all their manifold blessings. It is a day to be grateful to Mother Earth for all the bounty she bestows upon us even though we humans have taken gross, misguided, mindless advantage of her generosity (to our own detriment I might add). It is a day to remember that “Surely goodness and loving-kindness shall follow me all the days of my life” (Psalms 23:6). Give gratitude and thanks that this goodness and loving-kindness is the Truth and Light of each and every one of us. Remember on this Thanksgiving day (and every day) to take a moment in stillness to reflect upon all of your bountiful blessings and to actively practice radical gratitude. Thanksgiving and radical gratitude practiced every day keeps the heart fresh; just like rain falling upon ready soil, refreshing it and increasing its productivity.
The first order of establishing a daily practice and to flowing radical gratitude is to start with gratitude for yourself. To be grateful for ourselves, we start with loving acceptance of who we are, where we are and being grateful for the journey knowing that we have always done the best we could with what we had available to us at the time. To support you in being grateful to and for yourself, to loving yourself fully, to flowing peacefully in the loving truth and light of you, I am gifting you this Chant for Peace, the Lokah Mantra as I flow endless, boundless, unbridled love, peace, light and gratitude from my heart to yours. |
